Manhattan Project II

Lee Ecker

Manhattan II Project follows Major Brad Anderson, an experienced pilot a part of the 11th Aeromedical Airlift Squadron and the 57th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, which worked under the command of 375th Aeromedical Airlift Wing at Scott AFB, situated in Illinois. The book is a recommended read for sci-fi, suspense, and romance book readers.

Throughout the book, Lee Ecker introduces the reader to a wide range of interesting characters while highlighting the complexities of both interpersonal and environmental relationships. Major Brad Anderson is charged with attempting to save Lieutenant General Mike Higgins’ daughter Dana, putting everything in jeopardy. Although it was not in Brad’s plan, he and the crew of his C-9 aircraft end up leading a scheme involving time travel, UFOs, and preserving the future of both the United States and all of Manhattan.

With the future at stake, Brad and his crew set out on a journey to get back to their own time, all the while trying their best to not alter the timeline and face the consequences of risking their future further. We see multiple character debates about the nature of the mission assigned to them and the moral ambiguity of it. Though the book is not just for political and scientific-loving readers, it also offers romance to keep the balance and give readers time to comprehend the unseen plot twists.
