Angel on My Wing

Lee Ecker

In an accident that leaves him stranded in enemy territory, Captain Paul Barnes, pilot of the F16 fighter craft in the USAF’s Israeli Air Force division, finds himself forced to eject from his aircraft in the Lebanese lands. His decision to figure out how to get back to his country may have to take a detour once he wakes up, and it may take a couple of centuries.

Angel on My Wing not only takes readers on an adventure through time, but it also shows us the journey of the characters of Paul, his daughter, Sarah, and many others that are introduced throughout the book. The book sets the plot in two differing time periods that couldn’t be more different than they are. From the era of cutting-edge technology and fast-paced workings to a world of shepherds, angels, and many other Biblical figures, including Jesus Christ himself.

With a difference of about two thousand years, Paul and Sarah become the disciples of Jesus Christ as a way to get back to their own time, all the while trying not to change things too tremendously from what they know of them. Lee Ecker’s true skills of manipulating time and space according to the plot show greatly in the book, as does his writing, which captures the readers’ attention from the start to the very end. A definite read for all sci-fi and religious fiction lovers.
