The Return of the Manhattan, Lee Ecker’s latest release, is an adventurous science-fiction book that follows the story of David Ashton, a Lieutenant Commander in the US Space Command. He receives a secretive instruction package from the President of the Space Command that gives him the orders to embark on another high-priority space mission.
Join David and his team on a journey across our galaxy to a planet named O-2113 in search of fuel resources and to save planet Earth from an economic collapse.
Lee Ecker’s Manhattan II Project takes readers on a journey through the events in the lives of the characters working at the Air Force division of the US military and the missions that take them across the skies.
Lee Ecker’s Angel on My Wing is a fictional adventure book, following the story of USAF Captain Barnes as he accidentally travels through time. Being mistaken for an angel in the time of the Messiah himself, Barnes, along with his daughter, make an effort to come back to the future to make things right.
“The Return to Manhattan” is not just a story of David and his crew’s journey across space and time, but it is also an emotional one. I really liked how well the different genres were blended together.
Lee Ecker’s way of writing captivated my attention from the first character introduction to the last word. There were many moments where I had to stop reading to absorb the plot twists. I’d recommend this book to any sci-fi lover.
The premise of the book had me hooked, from David leaving on the mission to the new planet to them traveling back in time. My heart was with the Excalibur crew, but also who were left behind till the end.
